Candle Making Parties

 

Want something fun and unique to do with a few friends, a corporate team outing, a bridal shower, or a fun outing with family? Then plan to attend one of our Themed Candle Making Parties at our workshop in mid St Pete. Our candle pouring event offers a hands-on, fun experience so reserve your 2-hour time slot and create your own custom soy candle while making memories that last.

ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE

Our Candle Making Party is  approximately 2 hours long with 12 seats available. We’ll first go over the steps to make your candle and then help you select the perfect fragrance blend from over 50 quality fragrance oils. You will be mixing your selected oils with premium soy wax, wicking your jar, pouring your custom blend into a 10-oz jar, and creating a custom label for your masterpiece.  After pouring your candle, we will discuss how to properly burn a candle, fire safety, and other helpful tips. The candles take two hours to cure so you’ll spend the second hour socializing while enjoying lite bites and non-alcoholic beverages.   After pouring your candle, enjoy 10% off our Citrus Blossom Brand products in our retail space, including artisanal candles, home fragrances, and more!  If you’re unable to stay until your candle is ready then you may pick up your candle at a later time by either calling, texting, or emailing us to make arrangements. We ask that all candles be picked up within a week of them being made. We will only hold candles up to 2 weeks, before they will be donated or discarded.

Food: Lite bites and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided. Please let us know if anyone in your party has any food allergies/intolerances.

Reservations: Reservations are required. Check the calendar for available time slots. Workshops begin promptly, so plan to arrive 10 minutes early.

Restrictions: Because our candle pouring workshops include handling hot wax and fragrance oils, participants must be 16 years old (or at least 13 years of age if accompanied by an adult). Children under 13 are not permitted in the workshop space for safety reasons. Guardian accompaniment is a mandatory requirement for individuals with special needs.

Parking Information:

Parking is available in the strip-center’s parking lot.

BYOB:

Guests are welcome to bring their own beverages (seltzers, wine, champagne, or beer only); any left-over beverages must be not be left on the premises.

Pricing

Pricing is $40 per person, for a minimum of 4 people and maximum of 12 people, which includes all materials for the pouring process.  At checkout, add the name of the person(s) taking the class to the “ORDER NOTES” (even though it says optional). This will be your registration for the class. Classes are limited to 12 spots, so registration will close once the seats are reserved. At this time, attendees must be at least 16 years of age (or at least 13 years of age if accompanied by an adult).

• • If you need to cancel, contact us within 48 hours. If you cancel within that time frame, we can refund your payment back to your credit card (minus the processing fee).

CAN I BRING MY OWN VESSEL TO MAKE A CANDLE?

No. We provide vessels that have been tested with our wicks to ensure optimal burn time and quality. Outside vessels cannot be filled as we cannot guarantee how they will burn or even if they are safe to burn.
